 We finally got to have this years AWANA Grand Prix on Saturday. The kids had a great time and the Parents said they were impressed with how the race was run.
The combination of the GP Race Manager software and the Smartline timer was unbelievable. No problems encountered at all with this setup. Even our much waited on Piantedosi 4 lane freedom track worked well. I would recomend the Smartline timer and GP Race manager combination to anyone. It was simple to setup
even for a computer illiterate like me. We are already talking of having another Grand Prix with some other AWANA groups before the end of this year.

The Derby Races went great using the SmartLine unit. We had some very close finishes that would have been hard to judge by eye. However, since we were using your finish line product we had no problems at all.
Installation was a piece of cake as well. I will recommend your product to any other Pack or Troop in the market for such an item.
Next year we are going to set-up race software with the start switch and may purchase the photo finish product from you as well to display all finishes for pictures. I'll keep you posted since I am now officially in charge of the races and the keeper of the unit.

we were able to set up the timer itself without a hitch. We ran 60 heats in
just over an hour - there is no way we could have done that last year

Dear Richard and Nancy Fritz,
I just wanted to let you know how flawlessly the 4-lane SmartLine Timer and Photo Finish worked at our Royal Ranger Sectional Pinewood Derby® Race. We had nearly a hundred cars entered, and your products performed perfectly every time. The hookup was easy, and the place displays were bright for all to see. Actually, on some races, the times were incredibly close, but the SmartLine Timer told the difference. We were able to flash the times for each race (and the winners in the end) up on a screen through Race Tender software. We had some races that were 2/10,000th of a second from each other. Would have never been able to judge those the old way we used to with our eyeballs! And everybody loved the Photo Finish. With our Race Tender Software, we were able to flip back and forth between the times for each race (with the use of a laptop computer and LED projector), and the Photo Finish. We didn’t even have to use two computers. We hooked the SmartLine timer up to the 9 pin serial port on the back of the laptop computer, and then hooked the USB of the Photo Finish into the same computer. Then we could go full screen from one to the other with a simple key stroke.
The combination of the SmartLine Timer, Piantedosi Aluminum 4-lane 40’ track, Race Tender Software, and Photo Finish were an awesome combination that worked seamlessly together. What an awesome combination! Plus, your customer support answering all my questions was very helpful and personable, before and after the sale. Thank you so much for your time to answer all my questions before I purchased your timer. Obviously you did a good job of it, because I ended up buying your timer instead of the competitions.

Hi Nancy,
Just wanted to let you know we have everything installed and it works great! I know we got it last April but we never got around to setting up the track and installing everything till this past Christmas break. Installation was easy and it worked the first time we tried it.
